Removal And Installation: Removal

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Working on the cover lining of the rear-view mirror base, remove the trims (1) releasing the relevant retainers.
- Remove the lining (2a) by releasing the retainers (2b) from the pins on the windscreen (2c).NOTE:
The support for the control unit is stuck to the windscreen and must not be removed and applied on another windscreen for any reason.
- Disconnect the electrical connection (1).
- Release the side retainers (2a) for the support, from the side guides (2b) of the control unit (2c).
- Turn the control unit in the direction of the arrow (3a) and remove it, releasing the front side teeth (3b) from the relevant support housings.
- Recover the lane crossing warning control unit (2c).
