Automatic Transmission (Service Information): Removal

  1. Remove the engine and transmission as an assembly from the vehicle. Refer to REMOVAL .

  2. Remove the torque convertor access panel.

  3. Support the transmission with a suitable transmission jack.
  4. Remove torque convertor bolts.

  5. Remove the upper transmission to engine block bolts.

  6. Remove the lower transmission to engine block bolts.
  7. Separate the transmission from the engine.
