Removal And Installation

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the side cowl trim panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Disconnect the Passive Entry Module (PEM) wiring harness connector.
- Pull out the PEM (2a) disengaging it from the retainers (2b) on the mounting bracket (2c).
INSTALLATION
- Install the PEM to the mounting bracket and engage its retainers.
- Connect the wiring harness connector to the PEM.
- Install the side cowl trim panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
