Module, A/C And Heater: Installation

  1. Position the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) module (1) to the instrument panel support (3) and connect the wire harness connectors (2).

  2. Align the HVAC module (2) to the two locator holes in the instrument panel support (4) and install the module onto the support.
  3. Install the fasteners (1 and 3) that secure the HVAC module to the instrument panel support. Tighten the fasteners securely.
  4. Install the instrument panel center bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  6. Initiate the Actuator Calibration function using a scan tool. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
