Module, Intrusion: Installation

  1. Position the Intrusion Transceiver Module (ITM) (2) through the second row seating overhead lamp opening in the headliner to the mounting bracket (1) on the headliner substrate.
  2. Slide the ITM into the mounting bracket until the snap feature (4) of the bracket is fully engaged with the connector receptacle end of the module housing.
  3. Connect the jumper wire harness and overhead wire harness electrical connectors to the ITM connector receptacles (3).
  4. Install the overhead lamp into the headliner. Refer to LAMP, DOME, READING, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
