Steering Angle Sensor Check

Disconnect steering angle sensor connector. Set steering wheel straight. Set VOM on 200K-ohm scale. Measure resistance between Green and Green/Yellow wires while turning steering wheel slowly from straight to 180 degrees right. If resistance increases from 25K ohms to approximately 50K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B4 . If resistance is NOT within specification, replace steering angle sensor.

With steering wheel straight, measure resistance between Green and Green/Yellow wires. If resistance is between 20-30K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B4 . If resistance is NOT within specification, replace steering angle sensor.
