Steering Angle Sensor Check

Disconnect steering angle sensor connector. Set steering wheel straight. Set VOM on 200K scale. Measure resistance between Green and Green/White wires while turning steering wheel slowly from straight to 180 degrees left. If resistance decreases from 25K ohms to approximately 200 ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B 5. If resistance is NOT within specification, replace steering angle sensor.

With steering wheel straight, measure resistance between Green and Green/Yellow wires. If resistance is between 40-60K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B . If resistance is NOT within specification, replace steering angle sensor.
