Steering Sensor Signals

Connect a jumper wire between pins No. 46 and No. 60 at ARC module. Start engine. Check resistance with analog ohmmeter on 1000-ohm scale between pins No. 45 and No. 60. Also, check resistance between pins No. 24 and No. 60. Perform both checks while slowly rotating steering wheel. If meter needle does not swing for one or both circuits, proceed to QUICK TEST D16. If meter swings for both circuits, replace ARC module.
