EGR Valve Position (EVP) Sensor
Connect vacuum pump to EGR valve vacuum port. Backprobe EVP sensor at VREF and SIG RTN wires with voltmeter test leads. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Apply vacuum to EGR valve and compare readings with EVP SENSOR VOLTAGE .
