Air Injection Systems: Notes

The air injection system reduces carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbon (HC) content of exhaust gases. It injects fresh air into exhaust gas stream which continues combustion of unburned gases. Individual systems may vary in number and type of components, depending upon engine size and application.
