Load Control Solenoids

There are two normally closed solenoid valves in the throttle kicker system. The electrical load "E" solenoid responds to alternator loads and the air conditioning "A/C" load control solenoid responds when the A/C system is on. Both solenoid valves control vacuum applied to the throttle kicker vacuum servo to prevent rough idling when external engine loads are applied. Both solenoids are activated by the ECA.
