When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES
in the GENERAL INFORMATION section before disconnecting battery.
QUICK TEST and CIRCUIT TESTS are 2 diagnostic procedure formats used to test and service 4EAT system. Always perform QUICK TEST procedures before attempting any CIRCUIT TESTS. If a vehicle passes QUICK TEST procedures, 4EAT system is okay. Problem exists elsewhere.
