Stator Coil Open Test

Disconnect stator from rectifier assembly. Place ohmmeter in "x1" range. Connect one ohmmeter probe to one stator lead and touch other probe to another stator lead. If no meter movement occurs, an open exists and stator should be replaced. Repeat test for each stator lead.
