Triggered Alarm Disarm: Notes

On all models except Town Car, arm alarm system with a window down. Open a door from the inside door handle. Turn outside door lock to unlock position. If alarm does not shut off, go to step 2). If alarm triggers then shuts off, system is okay. Go to step 1) of KEYLESS ENTRY CHECK.
On Continental and Mark VII, check voltage at terminal "H", circuit No. 25 (Dark Green/Purple) wire of control module, with door lock cylinder in unlock position. If reading is less than one volt, replace control module and retest. If reading is more than one volt, check door disarm switch or circuit No. 25 (Dark Green/Purple) wire for open circuit. On Cougar and Thunderbird, check voltage at terminal No. 6 of control module with door lock cylinder in unlock position. If reading is less than one volt, replace control module and retest. If reading is more than one volt, check door disarm switch or circuit No. 25 (Dark Green/Purple) wire for open circuit.
