Check Engine Warning Light Will Not Go Off

  1. Disconnect White/Blue wire from Electronic Control Assembly (ECA) 24-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING ECA 24-PIN CONNECTOR (TURBO) and IDENTIFYING ECA 24-PIN CONNECTOR (NON-TURBO) illustrations. ECA 24-pin connector is located forward of center console.
  2. If check engine warning light goes off, check computerized engine control system, and repair as necessary. If check engine light does not go off, repair White/Black wire between instrument panel and ECA.
