Signal Ground Test

  1. Turn ignition on. Set W/W switch in OFF position. Connect ohmmeter between ground and Light Green wire at interval governor connector. If continuity does not exist, replace interval governor. If continuity exists, go to step 2).
  2. Disconnect wiper/washer switch connector. Connect ohmmeter between ground and Light Green wire at interval governor connector. If continuity exists, repair short to ground in Light Green wire between interval governor and wiper/washer switch. If continuity does not exist, replace wiper/washer switch. Reconnect wiper/washer switch connector.
