Compressor Clutch Bearing: Service and Repair

WITH 10P15F A/C COMPRESSOR

REMOVAL
1. Remove the clutch hub and the pulley from the compressor.

Nippondenso Clutch Pulley Disassembled:

2. Remove the bearing retainer ring from the pulley hub.

Clutch Pulley Bearing - Removal:

3. Position the largest opening of the Clutch Pulley Support T81P-19623-J or equivalent over the hub of the pulley to support the pulley and place it on the bench with the support tool under the pulley. Drive the bearing from the pulley with the Pulley and Bearing Tool T80L-19703-J or equivalent.

INSTALLATION
1. Place the smallest opening of the Clutch Pulley Support T81P-19623-J or equivalent over the dust shield on the clutch pulley friction face. Place the pulley and the tool on the bench with the pulley on top of the tool.

A/C Clutch Bearing - Installation:

2. Position the new bearing to the pulley bearing bore and install the bearing in the bore until seated with the Pulley Bearing Replacer T80L-19703-C or equivalent.
3. Install the bearing retainer in the hub.
4. Install the pulley assembly and the clutch hub.
