Radiator Cooling Fan Control Module: Description and Operation

The EEC Module receives signals from the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, Vehicle Speed Sensor, and Clutch Cycling Pressure Switch to determine if the Electric Cooling Fan should be activated. When conditions are met to activate the Electric Cooling Fan, the EEC Module will provide a signal to energize the EDF Relay (2.3L and 3.0L) or HEDF Relay (3.0L ONLY) and operate the Cooling Fan.
