With Automatic Transaxle

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the adaptive strategy.

Throttle Position (TP) Sensor:






2. Disconnect sensor electrical connector.

3. Remove mounting screws and remove sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. Place sensor in mounting position.

2. Install sensor mounting screws.

3. Adjust sensor as required. See Adjustments. With Automatic Transaxle

4. Connect electrical connector.

5. Connect negative battery cable.
