Temperature Control Cable

  1. Remove left lower trim panel. Move temperature control lever to cool position. Insert Cable Locating Key (E7GH-18C408-A) through temperature control cam key slot and heater case key boss opening to secure cam in proper position. See Fig 1 .
  2. Disconnect temperature control cable from retaining clip, located next to temperature control cam on left side of heater control unit. Ensure lever is fully in cool position. Connect cable in place using cable retaining clip. Remove locating key. Ensure lever operates through its full range of travel on control panel. Install trim panel.
