Spark Plug: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove ignition wires.
2. Loosen spark plugs a 1/4 turn and remove all dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder head with compressed air.
3. Remove spark plugs.






4. Refer to the Spark Plug Inspection Chart to determine the condition of the spark plugs.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
2. Check and adjust spark plug gap.
3. Tighten spark plugs to 9-20 Nm (7-15 ft lb).
