Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connectors.

NOTE: The upstream HO2S can be reached from under the hood. The downstream sensor must be removed from below the vehicle.

3. Remove the upstream HO2S from the three way catalytic converter pipe and the downstream HO2S from the the three way catalytic converter pipe.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
