Fillpipe Restrictor: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation
1. Remove fuel tank filler cap tether and two fuel tank filler pipe retaining screws inside filler door.

2. Raise vehicle.

3. Drain fuel from fuel tank: Service Precautions

4. Remove hose clamps and hoses from fuel tank filler pipe.

5. Remove fuel tank filler pipe, gaskets and fuel tank filler pipe retainer.

6. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fuel tank filler pipe retaining screws to 2.3-3.3 Nm (21-29 lb.in).
