July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TP sensor wiring harness connector. Rotate throttle to wide open position. Measure resistance between terminals "A" and "B". See Fig 1 . Resistance should be about 5 ohms.
  2. Rotate throttle to closed position. Again, measure resistance between terminals "A" and "B". See Fig 1 . Resistance should be about 1 ohm. If resistance is not as specified, loosen TP sensor screws. Adjust TP sensor until resistance is within specification.
