Observe THEFT indicator light on instrument cluster and turn ignition on. If THEFT indicator light stays on or is flashing, retrieve DTCs and perform appropriate DTC test. See RETRIEVING CODES . If THEFT indicator light does not turn on, retrieve DTCs and perform appropriate DTC test. See RETRIEVING CODES . If no DTCs are present, go to NO THEFT INDICATOR PROVEOUT test.
