Driver-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

Before proceeding, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Disable SRS. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove 4 nut and bolt assemblies retaining driver-side air bag module to steering wheel.
Disconnect air bag electrical connector from air bag sliding contact connector. Remove driver-side air bag module. See Fig 1 .
