- Turn ignition off. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and wiper motor harness connector terminal No. 2 (Blue wire). See Figure . If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair Blue wire between wiper motor harness connector and fuse block. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect wiper/washer switch harness connector. Measure resistance between wiper motor harness connector terminal No. 1 (Blue/Yellow wire) and wiper/washer switch harness connector terminal No. 4 (Blue/Yellow wire). See Figure and Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Blue/Yellow wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Test wiper/washer switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace switch as necessary. If switch is okay, repair Blue/Yellow wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
