Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Disconnect fuel charging wiring from EGR backpressure transducer.
2. Disconnect EGR backpressure transducer hoses from EGR backpressure transducer.
3. Remove EGR backpressure transducer retaining nuts and EGR backpressure transducer from transducer mounting bracket.
4. If necessary, remove the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid and the transducer mounting bracket from the upper intake manifold.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. If removed, tighten nuts for the transducer mounting bracket as illustrated. Tighten EGR backpressure retaining nuts to 5-7 Nm (45-61 lb-in).
