Spark Plug: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the coil-on-plug unit. Service and Repair
2. Loosen spark plugs a 1/4 turn, and using compressed air, remove any dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder heads.
3. Remove spark plugs.
4. Check and adjust spark plug gap.

NOTE: Refer to the spark plug inspection chart to determine the condition of the spark plugs.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten spark plugs to 10-20 Nm (84-180 lb-in).
