Trouble Shooting: Notes

Visually inspect central junction box, central junction box fuse No. 6 (5-amp), data link connector, wiring harness and electrical connectors, parking aid disable switch/LED, parking aid module, parking aid sensors, parking aid speaker, and parking aid system and reverse lights for obvious signs of electrical damage, corrosion and/or looseness. If problem is found with any component or wiring harness, repair defective component or harness before diagnosing parking aid system. If problem is not found, perform system operation checks.
