Steering Wheel Rotation Sensor Test

Code 32 will appear, indicating system has asked if SUPER STAR II tester operator would like to perform steering wheel rotation sensor test. To command system to perform steering wheel rotation sensor test, unlatch HOLD/TEST button for at least one second and relatching button within 8 seconds. Once test is entered vehicle must remain stationary. EVO control module will wait 30 seconds for technician to rotate steering wheel at least 40 degrees in one direction only. If steering wheel rotation is not detected within this 30 seconds, Code 33 will appear. If steering wheel rotation sensor is operating properly, Code 26 will appear indicating test passed. If Code 33 appears, go to TEST F  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
