EGO Sensor Wrench:

Special Service Tool(s)

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.







2. Disconnect the right side Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.







3. Disconnect the left side HO2S electrical connector.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.







5. Using the special tool, remove the HO2S.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Apply a light coat of High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant F6AZ-9L494-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M12A4-A to the threads of the HO2S
