EGO Sensor Wrench:

Special Service Tool(S)


REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.







3. Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.







4. Using the special tool, remove the HO2S.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Apply a light coat of High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant F6AZ-9LA94-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M12A4-A to the threads of the HO2S.
