Trouble Shooting

Verify customers complaint by operating power windows. Check following:

Mechanical

• Window alignment.
• Window mounting (regulator and bracket).
• Window frame interference.
• Power window switch damage.

Electrical

• Central junction box fuse No. 26 (10-amp).
• Battery junction box maxi-fuse No. 4 (20-amp).
• Damaged wiring harness.
• Loose or corroded connections.
• Damaged switches.
• Damaged window motor.

If inspection reveals an obvious concern which can be easily serviced, correct malfunction before continuing inspection and verification. If concern remains after inspection, check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
