Faults in ignition system should set a DTC. If any DTCs are present, perform appropriate system test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - CNG, FLEX-FUEL & GASOLINE article.
