Driver Seat Regulator Control Switch
WARNING:
If a power seat is equipped with side air bag and/or safety belt pretensioner, air bag system must be deactivated before any diagnostics are performed. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Air Bag Simulators (418-F088) MUST be connected under seats to side air bag connectors (2 required). Air bag simulators MUST be removed prior to driving vehicle.
Deactivate air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Remove driver seat regulator control switch. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Disconnect driver seat regulator control switch Black 8-pin harness connector C337. Measure resistance between driver seat regulator control switch terminals (component side) with switch in specified position. See DRIVER SEAT REGULATOR CONTROL SWITCH RESISTANCE table. See Fig 1 . If resistance is not as specified, replace driver seat regulator control switch. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
