Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE: Procedure is for either RH or LH ignition coil; LH ignition Coil is shown.







1. Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connector and remove the retaining bolt.







2. Tilt the coil away from the fuel injection supply manifold.







3. Remove the ignition coil.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse removal procedure.

NOTE: Apply dielectric compound to the inside of the coil boots.
