Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  3. Remove the anti-lock brake control module.
    1. Remove the bolts.
    2. Remove the anti-lock brake control module.

  4. CAUTION: Once the new module is installed, the module configuration information may have to be entered. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
    NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms can occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
