Torque Converter Flushing

CAUTION:
When the transaxle has been repaired for internal damage the torque converter must be cleaned using a mechanically agitated cleaner.
- Use a suitable torque converter/fluid cooler cleaner, flush the torque converter.
- After flushing, drain the remainder of the solvent.
- Add 1.9 liter (2 quarts) of clean transmission fluid to the torque converter and agitate by hand.
- Thoroughly drain the torque converter.
