Diagnosis - Automatic Transmission: Identification: Transaxle

On Escort models, transaxle is identified on vehicle certification label by "E" designation under TR space. Label is attached to driver-side door jamb, below the latch striker. Assembly and serial number information is on service identification tag attached to transaxle. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
