Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. On vehicles with dual batteries, see DUAL BATTERIES  under MISCELLANEOUS. Remove left battery.
  3. Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connectors. Remove PCM mounting bolts and remove PCM. See Fig 1.
  4. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  5. Tighten PCM mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
