Removal And Installation

CAUTION: The yaw rate sensor will be damaged if dropped. Do not use a damaged yaw rate sensor.
CAUTION: Make sure the yaw rate sensor is correctly positioned.
  1. Remove the RH front seat. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
  2. Remove the scuff plate trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .

  3. Position the carpet aside.

  4. Remove the sensor bracket bolts.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  6. Remove the yaw rate sensor.

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
