Brake System: Notes

The brake system has the following components:

• a vacuum-assisted power braking system.
• a front-to-rear split hydraulic system.
• front disc brakes utilizing a dual piston brake caliper and disc system.
• rear disc brakes utilizing a single piston brake caliper and disc system.
• a mechanical parking brake system that activates a drum-in hat system within the rear brake disc.
• a 4-wheel anti-lock brake system (4WABS). For additional information, refer to ANTI-LOCK CONTROL .
• adjustable pedals.
• adjustable pedals with memory.
• fixed pedals.
