Frame and Body Mounting: Notes

The frame (5005) is made up of two steel boxed side rails and crossmembers, which are welded to the two side rails. The transmission crossmember is bolted to the side rails. The side welded rails and crossmembers are not replaced separately.

The service kits available for the frame are:

• RH front horn replacement kit (5D058).
• LH front horn replacement kit (5D059).
• Front bumper bracket replacement kit (17N775).
• IB crossmember replacement kit (5C075).
• Transmission crossmember replacement kit (5059).
