Cylinder Head Bolts

The cylinder head bolts are torque-to-yield and must not be reused. New cylinder head bolts must be installed.

First pass 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Second pass 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Third pass 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
Fourth pass tighten 90°
Final pass tighten 90°

Intake manifold bolts 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)

Camshafts bearing cap bolts





First pass Tighten one turn at a time until tight
Second pass 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.)
Final pass 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)

Camshaft sprocket bolts 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.)

Exhaust Manifold Studs & Nuts

Discard the studs and nuts.

Studs 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)
Nuts 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.)
