MODULE CONTROLLED FUNCTIONS

The generic electronic module (GEM) is equipped on all vehicles and is located behind the glove compartment.

The GEM controls the following functions:
- Battery saver
- Warning chime
- Front and rear wipers
- Interior lighting
- Door ajar warning indicator lamp
- Remote keyless entry (RKE) (if equipped)
- Power door lock system
- Perimeter anti-theft alarm.
