EGR Tube: Service and Repair

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) System Module Tube

Removal

1. Remove the battery tray. For additional information, refer to Battery, Mounting and Cables Battery and Battery Tray - Exploded View.

2. Disconnect the EGR system module tube-to-EGR system module fitting.

3. Disconnect the EGR system module tube-to-exhaust manifold fitting and remove the tube.

Installation

1. Install the EGR system module tube and connect the EGR system module tube-to-exhaust manifold fitting.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

2. Connect the EGR system module tube-to-EGR system module fitting.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

3. Install the battery tray. For additional information, refer to Battery, Mounting and Cables Battery and Battery Tray - Exploded View.
