Front Door Alignment

Inspection
- 1.
Check front door to body dimensions. Refer to: Body and Frame .
Adjustment

LH side shown, RH side similar.
All alignments
Front door in and out, up and down alignment
- 3.
Adjust door to specification. Refer to: Body and Frame .
Front door fore, aft and tilt alignment
- 4.
On driver side. Remove the front seat. Refer to: Front Seat .
- 5.
On driver side. Remove the driver knee airbag. Refer to: DRIVER KNEE AIRBAG .
- 7.
On passenger side. Position the front door weatherstrip aside, release the clips and remove the instrument finish panel.
- 10.
On passenger side. Remove the screws, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the glove compartment.
- 11.NOTE: Instrument panel removed for clarity.NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
Loosen the nut to permit movement of the door.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- 12.
Remove the fender splash shield. Refer to: Fender Splash Shield .
- 13.NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
Loosen the bolts to permit movement of the door.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- 14.NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
Loosen the bolts to permit movement of the door.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- 15.NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
Adjust door to specification. Refer to: Body and Frame .

Check body to front door dimensions. Refer to: Body and Frame .
