Cruise-Control Module (C-CM): Removal

Cruise-Control Module (C-CM) or bracket 

1. 1.
   
   If installing a new Cruise-Control Module (C-CM), upload the module configuration information to the scan tool. Refer to Module Configuration .

   With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting .

   Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to Bumpers .

1. 4.
   
   
   NOTE: Gently pry to release the C-CM from the ball studs.

   NOTE: If a ball stud grommet is damaged, install a new grommet.
