P205B - REDUCTANT TANK TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE
| Description: | The PCM completes a plausibility check on the reductant temperature sensor after a 6 hour cold soak by comparing the reductant temperature signal to the ambient air temperature and engine coolant temperature signals on startup. This DTC sets when the reductant temperature difference compared to the ambient air temperature and engine coolant temperature is greater than 20°C (36°F). | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | Diagnose and repair all circuit DTCs before diagnosing DTC P205B. The presence of this DTC may indicate the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. After repair, the vehicle may still display a system warning message. Drive the vehicle until the system warning message has cleared from the instrument cluster message center. |
